Food at Asquith Hall specialist nursing home is a great pleasure, please have a look at our recent menus that are seasonally changed in line with the residents choices.

We host organic food, home made preparations, traditional meals, theme nights for our most exotic appetites, freshly juiced fruit and vegetables and a fantastic cake selection at afternoon tea.

Our very skilled expert chefs who combine local produce, taste and presentation and ensure all Dietary requirements are met.

Menus are catered for individually, including special diets, Vegetarian, Vegan, Celiac, ect.

A typical daily menu may consist
of the following:


Assorted Cereals, Porridge, Eggs (Poached, Fried, Scrambled, Boiled), Tomatoes, Toast and Jam or Marmalade


Honey Roast Gammon
Mash / Roast Potatoes
Broccoli / Baby Carrots

Bakewell Tart


Mushroom Omlettes
Potato Wedges

Banana Custard
Fruit & Ice Cream


Assorted Sandwiches, Cheese on Toast, Cheese & Crackers, Poached Eggs, Cake & Biscuits

Environmental Health Rating

We have had a new inspection of our catering dept. and achieved a 5 star rating, well done to the staff involved, and moving forward we are committed to maintaining excellent food health and hygiene at Asquith. We also had a training day for our staff in the catering department updating our CIEH accredited Food. They attended Burnley College and enjoyed refreshing their skills which is a national qualification accredited for 3 years.
